Overview
The BEC is offering a two-day Critical Core Skills development session that examines the usage and development of product specifications, bill of material generation and maintenance, vendor management, production lead time management, product and process change management, and customer test summaries. Critical functions of internal documentation systems, purchasing decisions, engineering change procedures, product usage, applications and product training, will be discussed. Participants will retain tools for contributing their content to a program in a timely and complete manner.
Internal Systems Content Includes:
- Techniques on how to stage and execute changes to new products.
- Methodologies for industrialization of new products and phasing them into the company infrastructure.
- Internal systems for documentation and decision management
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Organize the product portfolio and stage improvements and changes.
- Effectively use specific Planning and Analysis tools to accomplish this discipline
- Actively manage vendors to minimize cost and lead times
- Utilize tools for throughput of Business Development Operations
- Draw off of critical expertise available in the arena in a protected environment
