The BEC is offering a two-day session in Lean Accounting. The Lean Accounting course will give participants an understanding of how traditional accounting methods often support the creation of manufacturing and business waste that is targeted for elimination during a Lean implementation. Participants will learn how accounting and manufacturing can "team up" to insure a successful Lean implementation. World-renown InstructorThis course is taught by Jerrold Solomon, winner of the 2008 Shingo Research and Professional Publication Prize for his recently published book Accounting for World Class Operations. He is also the author of Who’s Counting?, which explains how accounting and manufacturing must develop a partnership to achieve world-class results.
