This 3 – 5 day Process Cells event is a proven way to implement this world class tool in an organization. Utilizing an experienced lean expert, a designated Process cell team is facilitated through the 15 step Kaizen process to properly implement a Process Cell. Process Cells are a great way to accelerate your organization's waste reduction goals and move your organization toward one-piece flow. While the event is focused on obtaining results, it also provides an excellent environment for participants to learn about this world class tool while receiving mentoring throughout the 15 step kaizen improvement process helping participants to gain wisdom and confidence in their own ability to facilitate or participate in future Kaizen events.

This event includes:

  • Event preparation, defining the scope and goals of the event
    • Everyone will clearly understand the desired objectives
  • Team training includes: Determining product families that qualify for Process Cells, calculating product capacity by process, analyze cell loading based on customer requirements, calculating takt time and balancing work based on customer requirements, completing a standard work sequence sheet
  • Complete the actual Kaizen Event
    • The team will follow a structured process to help achieve and sustain improvements in a working environment
  • “Report out” to management on the results of the Event
  • Determine Event Follow-up

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Report the results achieved throughout the event
  • Understand how Cells may apply to an organization
  • Understand the 15 steps for conducting a Kaizen event
  • Qualify for credit for the Lean Master Facilitator Process Cells class
