This two-day workshop applies the Lean thinking and methods that have proven successful in manufacturing to office and transactional processes to improve quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. It takes a practical approach to Lean using training materials specifically designed for office and transactional applications. The workshop is interactive and participants use a realistic business case. Participants are encouraged to select their own office or transaction problem to discuss and work on in the workshop. The workshop prepares participants to immediately apply Lean thinking upon return to their organizations.

About the workshop facilitator:

David Kwinn, PhD, MBA, has more than 20 years of experience in process improvement with multinationals such as SKF, Invensys, and Eaton Electrical. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and is also certified in Lean, business process improvement, and change management. He has taught process improvement to hundreds to people in five continents and deployed a worldwide business process improvement program that included order management, SIOP (sales, inventory, operations planning), marketing, engineering, accounting, and logistics. He also publishes articles on process improvement.
