Kaizen Event Kit$113

The 3 – 5 day hands-on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) event is a proven way to implement this world class tool in any organization. A designated team, facilitated by an experienced lean expert, properly implements TPM by using a 15-step kaizen process. Proper TPM implementation will result in zero unplanned downtime. While this event is focused on obtaining results, it also provides an excellent environment for participants to learn from an expert about TPM as well as other world class tools. This allows the participants to gain valuable hands on experience and confidence for facilitating or participating in future improvement events.

This event includes:

  • Event preparation, defining the scope and goals of the event
    • Everyone will clearly understand the desired objectives
  • Team training includes: What TPM is, who should be involved in TPM, what activities are associated with TPM, the intervals of TPM activities, how to calculate the overall equipment effectiveness and the cost impact of TPM
  • The actual Kaizen Event
    • The team will follow a structured process to help achieve and sustain improvements in a working environment
  • “Report out” to management on the results of the Event

Upon completion, participants will have:

  • Report the results achieved from the event.
  • Understand how TPM applies to every organization
  • Understand the 15 steps for conducting a kaizen event
  • Qualify for credit for the Lean Master Facilitator TPM class
