This 3-5 day hands-on Value Stream Mapping event is a proven way to implement this world class tool in any organization. By using an experienced lean expert, a designated team is facilitated through the 15 step kaizen process to apply this powerful tool. Participants will develop a visual tool that graphically identifies every process in a product's flow, giving visibility to both the value-adding steps as well as the non-value adding steps. While this event is focused on obtaining results, it also provides an excellent environment for participants to learn about Value Stream Mapping as well as other world class tools. This allows the participants to gain valuable hands on experience and confidence for facilitating or participating in future improvement events.

    • Everyone will clearly understand the desired objective
  • Team training includes: The definition of value stream mapping, defining the different types of waste and an Introduction to lean principles: lean cycle methodology
  • The actual Kaizen Event
    • The team will follow a structured 15 step kaizen process to achieve and sustain improvements in a working environment
  • “Report Out” to management on the results of the event
