Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification

The BEC Master Black Belt certification is a 14-day* program that will educate participants in the art of training the Six Sigma strategy to other individuals. The BEC Master Black Belt certification program has been designed by two GE Master Black Belts with years of experience knowing what it takes to train individuals in the Six Sigma strategy.

The BEC Master Black Belt program:

  • focuses on the participant using Train the Trainer (TTT) techniques;
  • provides in-depth training in both the DMAIC and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) techniques;
  • offers the training in three- and four-day increments allowing participants to continue in their current, influential roles at work; and
  • allows participants access to ongoing mentoring.

Participants:

  • Complete appropriate Master Black Belt training.
  • Lead/Complete two projects.
  • Successfully mentor 20 projects (DFSS, DMAIC or any combination of these).
  • Conduct training/presentations of one DFSS class and one DMAIC class.
  • Successfully pass Master Black Belt competency exam.

The BEC Master Black Belt certification program is a focused 14-day* program that will educate a current Black Belt on the tools of training and mentoring Black Belts, and overseeing the projects they are working on.

To be eligible for this program, participants must have attended Black Belt training and must have completed one project.

* Program is 13 days with a BEC Black Belt Certification or 14 days with other Black Belt Certification.
