The role of CEO is one of the most difficult, underestimated, and least understood roles in business. "The CEO and the Lean Organization" program is a day-long forum designed exclusively for CEOs. This format provides the opportunity for you to look at leadership from the unique perspective of the CEO. There is no such thing as a trivial act as a CEO. Everyone watches your every move, your every choice and, as such, no one is as misinterpreted as much as you are. Organizations struggle to achieve results when there is misalignment around that interpretation. What differentiates the great CEOs from the good ones is that the great ones develop a core purpose from which people can predictably interpret and act in a manner that will deliver desired results.

This forum will help you identify your personal core purpose, your intolerables, and how to use them to become a more congruent and effective leader. We will also look at the role the CEO must play to, not only effectively position your organization in the marketplace, but also to change the organization so that it becomes uniquely qualified to deliver on that strategy.

Who should attend:

  • This seminar is limited to only presidents and CEO's who have either direct P&L responsibility or at least three years in a leadership position.

Content Includes:

  • A different perspective on your role as the CEO
  • The roles a CEO must play
  • The steps necessary to effect change
  • The source of you power and influence as CEO
  • You get what you tolerate: the value of your intolerables
  • Understanding spin and how to use it effectively

Upon completion, you will understand:

  • The importance of your core purpose
  • What you stand for and how that affects your leadership results
  • How to address real issues in a meaningful way
  • How to create a culture of accountability
  • A new way of thinking about your organizational positioning and how to deliver on it
