Business Excellence ConsortiumThe CEO and the Lean Organization
The role of CEO is one of the most difficult, underestimated, and least understood roles in business. "The CEO and the Lean Organization" program is a day-long forum designed exclusively for CEOs. This format provides the opportunity for you to look at leadership from the unique perspective of the CEO. There is no such thing as a trivial act as a CEO. Everyone watches your every move, your every choice and, as such, no one is as misinterpreted as much as you are. Organizations struggle to achieve results when there is misalignment around that interpretation. What differentiates the great CEOs from the good ones is that the great ones develop a core purpose from which people can predictably interpret and act in a manner that will deliver desired results. This forum will help you identify your personal core purpose, your intolerables, and how to use them to become a more congruent and effective leader. We will also look at the role the CEO must play to, not only effectively position your organization in the marketplace, but also to change the organization so that it becomes uniquely qualified to deliver on that strategy.
