Zero Tolerance for Accidents

Details
This course has not been scheduled. Please contact the BEC for more information.

World-class organizations know that safety must be given high priority. Accidents and the cost of having them, both financially and personally, are not acceptable. This half-day event, designed for all levels of an organization, provides a great opportunity to learn about how making an environment safe is the responsibility of everyone and beneficial to the organization. Led by Jim Lehrke, founder of Safety Connections and an expert on safety in the workplace, this seminar will make you think about safety 24/7.

There will be a discussion concerning:

  • Exploring indirect and direct costs of injuries and how they effect the bottom line of a business
  • Ensuring that all employees have the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to work safely
  • Exploring the impact of positive reinforcement

Who should attend:

Anyone concerned about their own safety and the safety of their colleagues.

Upon Completion, you will:

  • Be able to identify how thinking safe 24/7 is the most effective way to decrease accidents
  • Be able to recognize behaviors that lead to on-the-job injuries
  • Be able to analyze how companies can get a return on investment for safety programs
