Business Degree Programs
| The Business Excellence Consortium (BEC), at MSOE, offers extensive educational programming for business professionals. These educational opportunities allow individuals to learn about and gain skills related to leading edge business concepts and practices. MSOE's Rader School of Business (RSOB) offers several bachelor's degree programs and two master's degree programs; one for students working in, or desiring to work in, management and other business-related fields. The other master's degree prepares individuals to develop, apply and manage information systems used by health care organizations.
Individuals who successfully complete the Business Excellence Consortium's educational programs that follow will have the opportunity to count these experiences toward their Rader School of Business degree requirements:

- Lean Associate Certificate OR Lean Healthcare Associate Certificate OR Lean Associate Administration Certificate
- Individuals who successfully complete the Lean, Lean Healthcare, or Lean Administration Associate Certificate are awarded 3 undergraduate credits for MS3401 that may be used to satisfy a concentration elective in the BSM, BUS, or BSIB programs.

Lean Tool Kit Certificate OR Lean Health Care Tool Kit Certificate OR Lean Administration Tool Kit Certificate
- Individuals who successfully complete the Lean, Lean Healthcare, or Lean Administration Tool Kit Certificate are awarded 3 undergraduate credits for MS3421 that may be used to satisfy a concentration elective in the BSM, BUS or BSIB programs.

Lean Lead Certificate - Individuals who successfully complete the Lean Lead Certificate are awarded 3 undergraduate credits fro MS3431 that may be used to satisfy a concentration elective in the BSM, BUS or BSIB programs.

Lean Master Facilitator Certification - Individuals who successfully complete the Lean Master Facilitator Certification are awarded 3 graduate credits for EM7475 Lean Master Facilitation.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate
- Individuals who successfully complete the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate are awarded 3 undergraduate credits for MS3406 that may be used to satisfy Operations Management concentration electives in the BSM, BUS or BSIB programs.

Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate - Individuals who successfully complete the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate are awarded 6 undergraduate credits for MS4406 that may be used to satisfy Operations Management concentration electives in the BSM, BUS or BSIB programs. (Participants who complete the advanced Black Belt certification and desire undergraduate credit are eligible for 6 credits for MS4406.)

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Individuals who successfully complete the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification are awarded 6 graduate credits: 3 graduate credits for EM-7461 Six Sigma Black Belt Concepts by passing the certification exam and 3 graduate credits for EM-7462 Six Sigma Black Belt Project for successfully completing a project.

Project Management Associate Certificate -
Individuals who successfully complete the Project Management Associate Certificate are awarded 3 undergraduate credits that will be applied toward the completion of MS-4801 Project Management, a required course in all undergraduate business programs.
- Project Management Lead Certificate -
Individuals who successfully complete the Project Management Lead Certificate are awarded 6 graduate academic credits EM5902 and EM5904 that may be used toward requirements in the MSEM degree program. Individuals who desire undergraduate credits and who qualify may earn credit for EM5902 and EM5904 that may be used to satisfy Operations Management concentration electives in the BSM, BSB or BSIB programs.

Project Management Master Certificate - Individuals who successfully complete the Project Management Master Certification are awarded 3 graduate credits for EM5906 that may be used to satisfy requirements of the MSEM program.
Individuals who desire undergraduate credits and who qualify may earn credit for EM5906 that may be used to satisfy Operations Management concentration electives in the BSM, BSB or BSIB programs.
