The BEC offers professional consulting to assist BEC member companies with a high-level assessment providing them with more informed options to decide where, what, when and how to proceed with their journey to world-class performance. This assessment is based on nearly ten years of working with similar companies and providing them with critical insights based on industry-standard best practices.

An Operational Assessment evaluates 13 critical elements that are crucial for successful Lean deployments. These elements include qualitative and quantitative data and will require an organization's management team to provide data in advance of the assessment onsite as well as requests for data while on site. During the two days onsite, the BEC Consultant will require a detailed tour for both administrative and manufacturing process areas. The assessment will also require interviews with the leadership team and a representative number of associates to develop a baseline of the current situation. After the onsite portion is completed, we will compile a summary report and deliver the results to the Leadership Team during the Leadership Team Lean Deployment Workshop detailed below. The assessment elements are listed below.
