and review the lean tools that are used for waste elimination

Value Stream Mapping Event – 3-5 days
By using this lean tool, the executive team will be able to see and experience
how waste has become a part of their organization and culture. This activity
will help the executive team identify how the organization can improve to
better compete
- Developing
a World-Class Health Care Environment – 1 day
The executive team will explore and agree on the key measurements for their
organization. These measurements will support a world class health care organization
and foster the development of a world class culture within the organization.
At the same time, the executive will develop a plan that defines the who,
what, when, where and why, focusing the organization's efforts to achieve
the desired business results.
Upon completion of the Lean Health Care Champion Certificate, participants
will:
- Understand Lean methodology
- Be able to understand and see the 8 forms of waste within your health
care organization
- Be aware of the Lean tools and how they apply
- Understand the key performance measures that help create a world class
health care environment
- Understand the role the leadership team plays in supporting and sustaining
a Lean initiative
