Quality Engineering Certificate (Automotive)

This 8 day certificate program is designed specifically for the automotive business sector. • Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process & Control Plan - 1 day
  This session addresses the process of integrating APQP into the overall design manufacturing and quality processes.
• Failure Mode & Effects Analysis - 1 day
  This session addresses effective methods of performing product and process Failure Mode and Effective analysis.
• Statistical Process Control - 1 day
  This session addresses efficient ways to produce products that consistently meet or exceed customer specifications.
• ISO/TS 16949:2002 Internal Auditor - 1 day
  This session addresses how to facilitate and continually improve the quality management system through an effective internal audit process.
• ISO/TS 16949:2002 Understanding & Implementing - 1 day
  This session addresses intent and requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002
• Measurement Systems Analysis - 1 day
  This session addresses a basic understanding of measurement and gauging systems.
• Mistake-Proofing - 1 day
  This session addresses effective methods of applying mistake proofing as a proactive method of improving and maintaining processes.

Upon completion of the Quality Engineering Certificate, participants will be able to:

• Anticipate problems and failure modes before they happen then put controls in place to prevent those failures
• Determine when and how to apply statistical techniques then understand and interpret the resulting data
